The Factory by The Evans Groups is where I interned at in the spring of 2011. They are a company that makes all of their own label in the U.S. as well as producing clothes for designers that care about homegrown production. Jennifer Evans, the founder and co-owner, kindly invited me to help style a tunic from their line five different ways for a pitch to refinery29. The tunics came in wine, black, and brown with a deep v neck and long bell sleeves. These silk crepe de chine v-neck tunics are 195$ and only for purchase in store at 370 4th St, San Francisco CA 94107.
Coat, Zara. Knit Vest, H&M. Booties, Urban Outfitters. Necklace, My mother's from some village in India.
I picked browns to surround the wine tunic so that the warm richness of the color would stand out.
Jean Jacket, Gap. Snake Belt, No clue. Flats, JCrew. Jewelry, Some villages in India.
A pretty standard day-to-night outfit.
Jacket, FCUK. Necklace, Brandy Melville. Shoes, Sacha London. Ring, LUVAJ. Clutch, Brandy Melville.
The Factory's French faux fur custom coats which are chemical-free and made from natural fibers (750$)
Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the other two outfits. Here's a shot of me in the softest faux fur I've ever touched and oddly enough the "fur" was made out of cotton. I thought all faux fur was plastic, clearly I need to step up my faux fur knowledge. The highlight of my day was definitely wearing a coat that had a matching pillow.

I had so much fun building my style around these beautiful tunics, thank you so much Allison for letting me work with you today!
